Carnivore X.

So the Carnivore was headed to central South Dakota with some friends to see about reducing a certain population of varmints, and we stopped for lunch at this establishment. Make no mistake, this is a bar, and it makes no claims otherwise. They even have a sign stating that this is a bar that serves food, not a restaurant that serves adult beverages. The menu is standard bar fare with a few surprises thrown in, and everyone in my party enjoyed the food they ordered. The carnivore had fried mushrooms, which he loves, chicken strips, and shrimp. All of these were fried to perfection, and consumed enthusiastically. This is not a four star restaurant, but the Carnivore rates establishments on what they are, not by how well dressed the staff is, or how expensive the menu might be. This is a solid four star bar. I will happily patronize Jono's the next time I am in Sioux Falls.
